At Katy Stewart Speech Pathology Services, Katy specialises in telehealth and home-based treatment for adult acquired communication and swallowing disorders. Katy is a certified speech pathologist, and has been proudly managing Western Australian clients since 2002. Katy offers personalized therapy and language rehabilitation for adults, with a focus on treating aphasia, cognitive communication difficulties, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, dysphagia, Parkinson's Disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, neurodegenerative conditions, and acquired brain injury. Our goal is to help our clients communicate with confidence and independence.

Katy Stewart has a BSc (Human Communication Science) 2001 and a MSSc (2014) and is a current member of Speech Pathology Australia and is a certified practising speech pathologist (CPSP). She has been working with adult clients since 2002 but currently specialises in adult brain injury rehabilitation and neurodegenerative conditions, such as Parkinson's Disease and acquired speech, language and swallowing disorders.
Katy has worked in a variety of settings including; community rehabilitation, aged care and nursing homes, stroke and neurological wards. Katy enjoys working with patients with aphasia, apraxia of speech, cognitive communication difficulties, dysarthria and dysphagia (speech, language and swallowing difficulties).
